On the 6th of June 2008, nearly 70 people attended Gurkhas Restaurant Lygon Street to celebrate the official Launch of SathSath's Sponsorship Programme, and to help raise funds to support SathSath's photography project "My Life, My Vision".
The programme was managed by members of Melbourne's Nepalese Community and supported by Gurkhas Restaurant Carlton, who provided a generous donation to support SathSath's work in Nepal.
The evening was hosted by SathSath's Representative to Australia, Ben Gough, who gave an overview of SathSath and the organization's programmes, as well as providing guests with the opportunity to see "Under The Night Sky" (SathSath's 2007 documentary) and a sideshow of 'street' images.
By the end of the evening, over $1000 was raised, and several children were provided with sponsorship. The evening's success is a tribute to the generosity of all involved.

Additionally, SathSath extends thanks to everyone who attended the dinner and contributed to making it such a success.
