Halfway House

The Halfway House (residential programme) has been developed to support street children who are involved in some of SathSath’s programs.

In this programme the children are removed from the street environment and provided with living space at SathSath. Here, the children have access to essential welfare services and are supported to develop skill to aid their social reintegration to mainstream society.

In this programme street children have access to the following support and services:

24 hour shelter and support
Food and cooking facilities
Sanitation facilities
Clothing and bedding
A daily allowance
Guidance and support to develop educational or vocational skills
